Who we are

This website is run by Creative Cut, a founder-led creative team. This page explains what information we collect through the website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry using the contact form, we receive:

• your name and work email address;
• your brand or company name, if you choose to share it;
• the service you selected and the project details you wrote.

If you use Creative Captions, our After Effects plugin, we also receive: the email you sign up with for update emails; and, when you activate a license, your license key and your computer's name (to count activations). Your footage and transcripts never leave your computer. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller and processes your card details; we never see them.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

How we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you and discuss your project. When you send the form you also receive one automatic confirmation email. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.

Services we use

• Website hosting provider — to serve this website.
• Google (Gmail) — to deliver form enquiries to our inbox and send you a confirmation email.
• Our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad) — to take Creative Captions payments and issue license keys.
• WhatsApp and Google Calendar — only if you choose to chat with us or book a call.
• YouTube or Vimeo — only if you press play on a video hosted there; their own privacy policies then apply.

Cookies & analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you arrive from one of our ads, your browser remembers the campaign tag (UTM) for 30 days and passes it to the checkout page, so we know which ad led to a purchase. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting project, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us at any time by emailing hello@creativecut.in.
